about Foreign Automobile Importers Association
The Foreign Automobile Importers Association (commonly called FAIA), which is licensed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as well as the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, is a nationwide importing association that includes 200 representative Japanese companies that sell imported cars under its umbrella. FAIA was founded in August of 1975, and, in an effort to strengthen its organization, the company conducts various businesses, including L/C import agency business, joint inspection business, parts supply business, maintenance business, and the provision of training/technical information.
In addition, we have given back to society by contributing to the sound development of the imported-car market through the provision of famous cars from around the world at reasonable prices. It goes without saying that increasing imports will remain a major challenge for our country (Japan). One could probably argue that the weight of the responsibility and trust imposed on FAIA is only increasing. Based on this, we at FAIA are committed to continuing to promote the importing of foreign cars.
